Gynecomastia means excessive breast development in men and can be considered a serious problem (e.g. an impediment for practising sports….)

We like to welcome you at the Clinic Beaucare to deal with this problem so you will be able to feel good again about yourself afterwards.

GYNAECOMASTIA SURGERY

The aim of the gynecomastia surgery is to remove the excess gland tissue by making a small incision of about 2cm along the edge of the areola. To obtain the best aesthetic result this is often combined with liposculpture. In exceptional cases excess skin is sometimes also removed.

POST GYNAECOMASTIA SURGERY

After the gynecomastia surgery a drain is placed which will be removed after 24 hours. You will need to wear a special compressive bandage for one week. The stitches will be removed after two weeks. Breasts will be swollen because of wound discharge and bruising. After about a week this will disappear.

We hope this explanation has informed you about the treatment. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any further information. We look forward to welcoming you in our clinic soon to be of personal assistance to you.
